Account information — When you register, we collect your full name, email address, USTA rating, gender, and optionally your preferred home court location.
Activity data — We store records of leagues you join, challenges you send and receive, match results, and messages sent through the in-app challenge threads.

Payment information — Credit card numbers and payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never transmitted to or stored on Ace League servers. We only receive a confirmation token from Stripe indicating whether a payment succeeded.
Your name, USTA rating, gender, home court, win/loss record, and league standings are visible to all registered players on the platform. Your email address is visible to administrators only, not to other players.
Stripe — Payment processing. Your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Ace League stores an authentication token in your browser's localStorage to keep you signed in between sessions. No tracking cookies are used. Clearing your browser's local storage will sign you out.
Your account data and match history are retained for as long as your account is active. If you wish to have your account and associated data deleted, contact us at aceleaguetennis@gmail.com. Note that match results that affect other players' standings may be retained in anonymized form.

August 5, 2026 — how entry fees are charged has changed. Joining a league now saves a payment method without taking any payment. The entry fee is charged only when a league reaches its minimum and becomes Active, so a league that never starts is never charged. See sections 3 and 4.
By registering an account or joining a league on Ace League, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the USTA rating and gender you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge. Misrepresenting your rating to gain a competitive advantage is grounds for removal. You may hold only one active account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at aceleaguetennis@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Keep your profile information — including email, home court, and USTA rating — accurate and up to date.
Each league costs $10 per player. In doubles, this applies to each partner individually, so a team pays the fee twice.
You are not charged when you join. Joining requires a valid payment method to be saved to your account, but no payment is taken at that time. The fee is charged only when the league reaches its minimum number of players and starts as a full ladder. If it does not reach that minimum — whether it is cancelled or converts to free Open Play — you are never charged.
Payments and stored payment methods are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details. By joining a league you authorise Ace League to charge the saved payment method for the entry fee at the time that league becomes Active.
You must meet the league's gender and USTA rating requirements to register. Registering for a league constitutes a binding commitment to participate for the full season.
Because the entry fee is taken only at activation, most situations that would call for a refund result in no charge in the first place.
All players are expected to report match results honestly and accurately. Submitting a false score is a serious violation and may result in permanent account termination. Specific ladder rules (scoring, challenge range, position swap logic) are set per league by the administrator and are visible on each league's detail page.
The administrator has final authority to correct, reverse, or void any match result in the event of a documented dispute or integrity violation.
When you receive a challenge you are expected to respond (accept or decline) within a reasonable time — typically before the challenge expires per the league's configured expiry window. Repeatedly ignoring challenges may result in administrative action. Challenges must be coordinated and played in good faith; intentionally scheduling and then no-showing is a conduct violation.
All participants are expected to behave with sportsmanship and respect toward other players, administrators, and the platform. Prohibited conduct includes — but is not limited to — harassment, intimidation, abusive language in the in-app messaging system, collusion to manipulate standings, and any form of cheating. Ace League reserves the right to remove any player whose conduct is deemed harmful to the community.
Ace League is a software platform for organizing tennis ladder leagues. We are not responsible for arranging courts, providing equipment, inspecting facilities, or supervising play. Participation in tennis matches involves physical risk, including the risk of serious injury. By registering, and separately by accepting the assumption-of-risk acknowledgment at sign-up, you voluntarily assume all risks of participation and acknowledge that Ace League bears no liability for personal injury, property damage, or any other loss arising from matches arranged through the platform or from the condition of any court or facility. Players are solely responsible for their own safety, for assessing the suitability and condition of any court, and for ensuring they are physically fit to play.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ace League's total liability for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the league entry giving rise to the claim.
Please read this section carefully — it affects how disputes are resolved. Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Ace League will be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court. Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis only.
You and Ace League each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or any other representative proceeding. If any portion of this section is found unenforceable, the remainder will still apply, except that if the class-action waiver is found unenforceable, this entire arbitration section is void. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing aceleaguetennis@gmail.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
Ace League may suspend or permanently remove any account that violates these Terms, with or without prior notice. Grounds for removal include but are not limited to: misrepresenting your rating, submitting fraudulent match results, harassment of other players, and creating multiple accounts. Removed players forfeit any remaining league entry fees.
We collect your name, email address, USTA rating, gender, and optional home court location to operate the league platform. This information is visible to other registered players within the app. We do not sell your data to third parties. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. For questions about your data, contact us at aceleaguetennis@gmail.com.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Ace League after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
